"Child of the Sun"

Close your eyes child of the Sun.
Tomorrow will be another day for you to run.
It is your star that has shined so bright.
In the morning, once again will you radiate warmth and light.
You have known and felt both love and hate.
In the days to come, who knows what will await.
You are sincere as the day is long.
Very rarely are you found to be wrong.
Mysteries will come for you to unfold.
Perhaps you will find a pot of gold.
In your life has come a single Rose.
One who brings the rythym of poetry and prose.
Her name is indeed one that is timeless and old.
Will you find the beauty that she holds?
Will you allow her to feel the warmth of your light.
Will you hold her in the night.
