I enjoyed "Honeysuckle Blue". I'm still listening to "A good country mile", that one is a little different, it's okay. It's kind of hard to follow along because I can't focus. It's more like a story, pretty cool. I haven't listened to "scarred but smarter" yet. I will shortly. |

Okay, I'm listening to "scarred but smarter". It's different! This was my least favorite of the bunch. I'm not used to listening to this style, but the music part was pretty good.

i really like that version, but i also really like the original version from the first cut of the first side of their first album...
scarred but smarter this was the first one of theirs i heard that sucked me in though...can't promise you the world then i heard honeysuckle blue, and i was hooked. |

good stuff stu. i had some hand me down (from an aunt) hermins hermits albums when i was a kid. she passed on some great original stuff...monkees, beatles, new vaudville...and i still have an origiinal 'snoopy's christmas' album. with poster intact!!!

athens was a great palce to grow up . . .
more (regionally) local music from the early eighties ... small clubs with prices from about 2- 15 bucks a show, if not cover charge free litany more from guadalcanal diary...little birds |
