can a guy and a girl be good friends after they were in a relationship previously and broke up on good terms?

Of course....i am still friends with my ex..because we have a child together and we actually get a long BETTER than when we were together..

Of course i was with my ex for 10yrs an till this day cause he moved on were still friends we talk almost every weekend an we still email each other.

i feel that too sometimes but sometimes your perfect friends wont make perfect relationships your too much as friends, to make that change

well with me after 10yrs he found his first gf after 35yrs an was always up front with me toward the end of our relationship said he wanted to be with her that he still had feelings for her this month hurt a little bit would of been our 11 anniversary but you know i'm still glad i can be friends with him and now me and her a freinds too
 oh yeah case any one wants to know its my bday today lol

I agree with Hawaiigurl. I get along with my ex better now that we aren't together. Actually, I can't believe we were ever together now that I look at it, but whatever. We still get along and I consider him a friend.

Absolutely....my best male friend is a man I dated almost 10 years ago....now we protect each other by offering advice, comfort each other when we hurt and are there for each other when things are not going well despite living 2 hours away.....I've always said were I ever to marry again this friend would walk me down the aisle...

Of course exes can be friends. I'm on good terms with all of my exes. Well, I haven't talked to them since we broke up, but if I saw them, I would say hi and ask how they were doing.
