“Things we Miss”


It is that touch.
That we miss so much.
That special one that makes you feel.
This love is ideal.
Just to have someone to talk to.
And listen to our hearts view.
About life and what we want.
And our thoughts that haunt.
Within our dreams
Yes it seems.
That so many want the same.
Just to have a love without shame.
So why is it so hard?
And why must we always put up our guard.
When are looking for that special one.
That seems to make the sun.
Shine and brings a smile to our face.
Knowing we have finally found that place.
Were two now becomes one.
And our lives have only just begun.
Were there were two hearts now there is one heart.
They have now joined and will never part.
This is the kind of love we all wish for.
So why must it be such a chore?
Just to find a love that will come your way.
And for a lifetime stay.
