Second Helping is a 1974 album by Lynyrd Skynyrd. It was the band's second album, and featured its biggest hit single, "Sweet Home Alabama", an answer song to Neil Young's "Alabama" and "Southern Man". The song reached #8 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in August 1974. This L.P. was the last to feature Bob Burns on drums.

The album reached #12 on the Billboard album charts. It was certified Gold on 9/20/1974, Platinum and 2x Platinum on 7/21/1987 by the RIAA. - wiki

The band performed the title track on the episode "Bambi" from the second season of the BBC TV comedy "The Young Ones" during the interlude where the boys rush to the train station to get to "University Challenge" on time. The guitar solos were shot backwards so that while Wurzel played the camera was on Phil Campbell and vice versa. The episode is famous for appearances by Emma Thompson, Hugh Laurie, and Stephen Fry.

"(We Are) The Road Crew" was used in the video game Brütal Legend, in which Lemmy also voiced the "Kill Master".

"Fast and Loose" was featured in The Walking Dead third-season episode, "This Sorrowful Life", on the car radio while Merle Dixon (Michael Rooker) is sitting in the driver's seat of a car drinking whiskey, both attracting and teasing "walkers", and before finally turning up the song and driving off with the walkers following his car.

Dawn Patrol is the debut studio album by Night Ranger released in 1982. During the recording of the album, the band was known as just Ranger. The first issues of the album were printed and ready to be shipped when it was discovered that there was a country band from California with the same name. The band decided to name themselves Night Ranger after the song that Blades had written for the album, and Boardwalk proceeded to destroy every copy that had "Ranger" on it. "Don't Tell Me You Love Me", the first single/video, entered heavy rotation on MTV and reached #40 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #4 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Tracks Chart. The second single/video, "Sing Me Away" peaked at #54 on Billboard's Hot 100 and at #39 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Tracks Chart in late spring of 1983. - wiki

Equinox is the fifth album by Styx, released in December 1975. The album also marked the final appearance of original Styx guitarist John Curulewski who left the band abruptly following the release of Equinox. The band went into a frantic search to find a replacement for their upcoming tour to support Equinox. Soon after, they found Tommy Shaw.
