Topic: Post Modern Lonely Nights (song of losing a loved one) | |
---|---|
This one was written in 2001, very depressing song but I still like it;^]
Lonely nights I've tried, But I cannot die Lonely nights, when I can't get you off my mind ~'cause now you're gone, yea now you've gone away~ You've been sixteen for the past sixteen years Moonlit madness, counting all of my bloody tears ~'cause you're in the grave, and I'm the one who drove you there~ God, damn me... My eyes closed tight but still I can see you I'm out on the night Dancing in moonlight ~With her~ I've known so many girls, but they don't seem to know Gunshots explode and I don't know which way to ~Think I'll go away, 'cause God took her away from me~ Lonely nights I would pretend it's all a lie Covered in sadness, dear God I had only asked to die ~But I'm already dead, yea I've already died & gone to hell~ But am still without her... All time stands still I protest why I can't be killed This must be hell on earth But I ask what was it's worth? ~Was it worth any of it for her?~ |
