Times have changed I think it depends on the guy whether he feels that its not right. Myself personally would be flattered if a woman asked me out

You want permission? When you are willing to risk rejection when asking someone out you are beginning to act as an emotionally mature and responsible adult. till then you are simply passive and non assertive which usually while safe offers little reward or personal growth that experience brings....

Even now, at my advanced age, I would never ask a man out. But I realize that my ideas on dating are way outdated. So, you should probably pay attention to what the young folks on here say about it.

Well it depends on the person, i mean it would be awesome if a girl asks a guy out with good intentions! It can tell more about the woman, in this case she is a gutsy person which is a quality I admire in a woman! Some guys like it!

As long as it is her choice to do so why not? I've dated women that made the first move. In my world of respecting women, I often prefer it so I don't look like a perv. I taught sexual harassment as compliance manager, its a fine line between asking and harassing. Its not like in the old days when persuasion was used to change a no to a yes. Now persuasion is often interpreted as harassment and can cost you big. So a woman asking first is one way to assure no mix ups. |

It's not like in the old days when persuasion was used to change a no to a yes. Now persuasion is often interpreted as harassment and can cost you big. So a woman asking first is one way to assure no mix ups. It can also be taken as stalking. So it can get tricky.
