I never seen the movie but I read the books .
It's okay a lot of bed scene and fantasy

Considering how many copies of that book sold, and it's mostly women reading that genre, I think it's pretty safe to say many women like it. Maybe they don't want to do it, but sure there is an interest otherwise it wouldn't be sold by the millions.

I'm not sure whether you are asking for our opinion or guess about why we think that some women like the kind of sexual behavior in 50 Shades, or if you want to know why some men WISH that lots of women want that sort of thing.

I haven't read the book or seen the film either, so I only know what others have said about it. And what they've said, sounds like a replay of what lots of people said when Nine and a Half Weeks came out eons back. And long before that, when I Am Curious Yellow was out.

The main thing I see that all such movies and books have in common, is that the male protagonist is extremely rich. That messes up any conclusions or guesses I could make about the motivations of the women who are intrigued by it. That's not because I think women are primarily motivated by money, mind you, it's just that the amount of money involved, changes the stories tremendously.

I'm reminded of a very old joke that goes...

A wrinkle-faced, but obviously well-dressed man on a cruise ship asks a stunning young female passenger "Would you have sex with me for a million dollars?" To which the female replies after a moments thought, "Hmm. Yes I would." The man then says to the same woman "Okay, here's fifty dollars. Would you come to my stateroom right now for that?" The woman, outraged, replies "Absolutely not! What kind of a woman do you think I am?!!!????!?!??! The man answers "We've already determined that. Now we're haggling over price."

Again, I'm not saying it's all about the money. But everyone who is honest with themselves knows, that wealth causes all sorts of small things to be okay which would not be okay otherwise. Lots of wealth, allows a person to have extremely good looking teeth. A neater house and appearance, because they can hire people to make that all happen. Better fitting clothes, to make whatever their physique is, look it's best, and so on.

Until someone puts out a film or a book that intrigues lots of women, where an AVERAGE OR BELOW looking guy, with no more than a $50k a year income, driving a four or more year old Camry does all that kinky stuff, I'm calling BS on it all.
