my point is

it is easy to give advice if it does not affect your lifestyle

directly

and no matter what anyone thinks they do not have all the info on the subject

thus we can discuss it till we are blue in the face

but it really will not affect you in a major way

couples in the process of a divorce

we are not getting the divorce

but what about that same couple whom you spent every xmas eve with them since before you were married.....It would feel odd the first time without them....and THAT would affect YOU!

yes maybe so

but it would not affect your lifestyle

and if you are single and get married

then chances are you would not do that

any longer neither

it would not affect your way of life

it may change one evening of entertainment

but not your lifestyle

their getting divorced changes their lifestyle

it may inconvenience you a little

but it will not change your way of life

I think it would affect my lifestyle.....what would I do on xmas eve? It would affect me, and them.......now what?>???laugh laugh laugh

And if I were married again, maybe that is what we as a married couple did?

What if we were all friends before....it would indirectly affect our lives as much as theirs.

not even close unless you all live & sleep together

it may inconvenience you a bit

but the way you live your life would not be changed

you may find someone else to spend christmas with

but you could still do it with someone
