Yes. Financial stability makes a difference.
Does a person have to be rich? No. If a person doesn't have a home and a job, especially by a certain age, one has to wonder why. |

Yea well the reason he doesn't have anything might be that his 1st ex cleaned him out in divorce court. Been divorced 30 years now and watched a lot of men get ruined by these kangaroo courts. Not for me
And yes I have all those toys that most women expect in a marrage. But im not dumb enough to risk it on any woman who only wants to marry it. Instead of working for it. |

Yes. Financial stability makes a difference. Does a person have to be rich? No. If a person doesn't have a home and a job, especially by a certain age, one has to wonder why. This. It all depends on why he is not doing well and what he is doing about it. Esp in a man, have said this many times before, will say it again. A man's ego and sense of worth hinges on his financial status, career etc. etc. So a man who's empowered in his masculinity will do everything he can to have this status so he feels good about himself. A man needs to feel he can be a worthy provider. If a man doesn't have that feeling and drive, he's not the man for me. Not cos of the lack of money or status, but he's simply not the type of man I can be happy with. That's also why unemployment can hit a man much harder than a woman. It trashes his ego and sense of worth. . . . |

If he/she can't support themselves then yes it could have a impact on a relationship.. I'm not one that goes for the money but I will not support someone else either... |

Does the financial secure offered by the man affect girl's dession... I mean can a girl in love refuse a respectful bond due to man's poor financial status?! I think so. I know men that won't date a woman that isn't financially stable either. If I was still on the dating scene; I would want a guy that can pay his bills but not to support me as I can do that fine on my own. No one should be burdened having to financially support another adult. I know lots of women who are looking for a guy to support them but that is old way thinking. Guess even at my age; I am a more modern gal. |

When I was a "girl", money never mattered to me as long as a man had a good means of support. I've always had my own. Now that I am much older, it still doesn't matter to me. I would say to you that if a woman was looking for a husband, and possibly wanting to have a family with you, considering your financial status would make sense to me. You would at least need to have as much as she does and not depend on her for your support. And I would add, you should be able to afford to take her on dates.
