Come on Hiker, think positive
John Edwards will make a difference!!happy

Hes just naive enough to believe it himself.
If The People could elect him by an over whelming margin, say 75%, then We could give him the Power necessary to pull it off!

Think Positive man!!

I feel its our last golden opportunity!

You're right Fanta.

Sometimes I look at
the dark side.

It gets frustrating
sometimes.

Good thing I got
a family to turn
to in trying times.

I hope that someone
gets in who can make
a difference for
the average man.

Even the playing field.

Give the average joe
an even break.

Not a handout, just a hand.

As for the last golden opportunity,
I don't think it's the last.

As long as there are decent
hardworking men and women
in this country who believe
in the dream, there is hope.

John Edwards won't solve all
our problems, there are some
we have to solve ourselves.

But he could help a lot.

================================================================

You are right, and hes already getting the big boys scared. (corporations)

Edwards won the Des Moines paper's endorsement in 2004, which some saw as critical to his strong second place finish to John Kerry. But this time, the newspaper endorsed New York Sen. Hillary Clinton.

"Edwards was our pick for the 2004 nomination," the newspaper said. "But this is a different race, with different candidates. We too seldom saw the `positive, optimistic' campaign we found appealing in 2004. His harsh anti-corporate rhetoric would make it difficult to work with the business community to forge change."

Edwards said he and the Des Moines editorial board had a fundamental difference on whether there was "too much corporate influence" in Washington.

Yeah, I heard
about the Des Moines
article too.

Sounds like they
are trying to appease
their advertisers.

That's just crap.

We have to vote
for Hillary because
she'll play nice
with the corporations.

What a bunch of bull!

Here's an article about
the former CEO of United Health.

He backdated the stock so
he and others could make
out like bandits!

http://www.sec.gov/litigation/litreleases/2007/lr20387.htm

No wonder health care
is so expensive.

CEO compensation is ridiculous.

Corporations keep raising their
pay while the average worker
gets the shaft.

And guess what?

That rotten crook
weasel will get
to keep stock options
valued at more
than $800 million
when he should be
sitting in prision!!!!

I'm not gonna say any of that, though it would be tempting. If Hillary gets ellected I'll pray that she sits back & lets Bill do all the work;^]

"If (Fill in the blank) gets elected President, I'll leave the country!"

My opinion? Anyone who says this should be FORCED to leave the country if the person they said it about is elected!

And, in good faith, I think that law should be enforced retroactively.

Anyone remember 2000?

Bye-bye Rosie, Grossanne, Baldwin boys, Whoopi, Babs, and you other overrated pieces of crap celebs who backed down on your vow!

ummmm excuse me............ last time I checked..... we had a First Amendment to the United States Constitution....now unless I am mistaken....and that 'very' rarely happens  We have the right to say what we feel even it seems a bit disrespectful or even undiplomatic to others........ We'll take our chances with the government dragging us off in the middle of the night for speaking out of turn.....drinker bigsmile

How about John Edwards?

He doesn't take any money
from Health Care corporations
like Hillary does.

Neither does Obama.
