Searching for love is the same no matter where or how you try to do it. This is just another access point to communicate with other people.

The primary advantage, is that you know from the profile, what they claim their single/married/whatever status to be, so you can avoid the awkward live situations, where you try to approach someone who is already with someone else.

The downside, is the lack of all the hundreds of little things you can nearly instantly do, when you meet someone in person. Not just looks, but how they carry themselves in general, how they sound, etc.

I know a few people who have had great success and found a pleasing long term mate for themselves through online interactions. But there's no special tricks involved. The closest thing to a "trick" there is about online stuff, is a kind of an inside out thing: lots of people don't realize that they are ASSUMING they know more about the other person than they do. Wait to draw any serious conclusions about someone, until you have met them face to face, and begun the more standard process of getting to know them.

I think if its love, it is true.
False love is not love at all.

I don't believe people fall in love on any dating site.
They meet someone, share interests and find commonality.
The dating site helps bring them together but its the personal time together that forms the love bond.

I think that anyone that thinks they will find love at any dating site are setting themselves up for failure.
People are always different in person.

I use dating sites to try to find someone that makes me want to go meet them in person.
Its a starting point and nothing more.

its hard to find true love anywhere even harder to know if its true but from what ive learned from the nice and smart people here in the forums is you will never know till you you try. get to know people find out how real they are and see where it can go.

Give before you receive
Talk positive only
Give more value to qualities of persons
Be real,honest and sincere
Talk with good people only
watch your actions,words and gestures
Talk LOVE; no SEX

Searching true love here on net is similar like searching the god.
