Topic: Democratic Party now the Communist Party/Socialist Party? | |

I don't know how to tell you this but your ex husband or whichever male figure pumped these ideas into your head was grossly misleading you. Your points are inaccurate and your line of thinking is skewed. Finally, your last little statement regarding modern day Republicans being in any fashion associated with the KKK; simply because of an endorsement from one of the group's leaders, is laughable. You might want to quit posting for a bit and go do some research on the following: "Hillary Clinton Robert Byrd." Why would I want to read more anti Hilary THEORIES of guilt by association ? Simple logic and research are what 'pumps' ideas into my mind. If there is something specific that I got wrong perhaps you should address it specifically and provide some research of your own to disprove it. Til then, perhaps learning the difference between commentary pieces, opinion pieces and FACTUAL information before shooting down another persons arguments will elevate your mind and add more substance to your own arguments. |

First. Globalism, populism, communism, and patriotism are DIFFERENT things. Second, I do not recall America having a 'communist party' on the ticket Third, If you take the time to compare the REPUBLICAN platform of the 60s to the modern DEMOCRAT platform, you will find an 'amazing degree of similarity'. Fourth. Fiscal policy has increased the debt for DECADES, under both republican and democratic leadership. Heck, Reagan came in with under 1 T debt and left with nearly 3T. Fifth: There is much more to a nation than its debt, some of the countries with the lowest debt, also have the lowest standards of living and human decency. I would not want to trade off the latter for the former. Debt and 'morality' are not exclusively intwined. Sixth: It is quite ironic to state in one sentence the ills of 'obtaining and controlling power' and in the next declaring that a simple choice of a candidate of a certain party makes you 'enemy to the Principles upon which our great Country was founded' and silly considering those founders were from both parties themselves. and Last, the most relevant comparison to be made in the US is that the Democrat party has morphed into the republican party of past that was for equality and the 'general welfare' of US citizens. It boils down to word play and playing on fears of the average joe/jane. I could be just as clever by saying " The American people will never knowing accept a dictatorship. But, under the belief that someone will enforce oppression upon the 'others' they fear are taking 'their stuff', they will adopt every fragment of the dictator programuntil one day America will be a third world nation, without knowing how it happened. |

I should have chosen an earlier decade, my mistake
the platforms of modern democrats ABSOLUTELY mirrors the platform of 19th century republicans,,, And yes, the DIXIECRATS(southerners) were definitely against civil rights and desegregation,, before they jumped ship to the republican base, and now it is modern DEMOCRATS who are most supportive of civil rights and desegregation... The reason for Americas moral decline is AMERICANS(on all side of the political spectrum) |

Yes. That is the dilemma.
The ideal of 'freedom' as a concept and the push to apply 'freedom' as an absolute |

the love of power and money, ingrained into the human psyche, creeps into any system that humans are a part of we do not crave order, we crave a chaos where everyone does what they want, short of murder and theft and humans only hold real value based upon the money they can produce for themselves and others and when we do not desire order, when we resist order as a bad thing, when we embrace only 'subjective' standards and diminish the value of human life to a dollar sign we invite the fall of mankind,,, and here we are I agree ... so many have been hurt here and abroad ... I still hear some good coming from certain places ... but a shame so many need it ... becouse of diminishing the values and greed of human life to a dollar sign... |

A wonderful thought. Taxpayers dollars funding perverse indoctrination and what ever pathetic thing these crooks feel will be in their best interest. My common sense is telling me it goes even deeper than that. And if you don't like that too bad. And if anything is a bit off topic too bad.
Now they gotta go Judge shopping to accommodate their resistance agenda and they want to raise the depth ceiling already. How broke are we? Really Lot of embarrassing individuals in power only to benefit self interest's. |

socialism never works and so many countries are collapsing because of socialism Not accurate. There have never been any true communist countries, and what you are referring to as "collapsing socialist countries" are not true socialist countries. It is true that most dictatorships collapse. That happens whether they are some version of capitalism, or some version of socialism. And no, this thread is another propagandist bit of silliness. The Democrats are no more turning into communists or socialists than the Republicans are. The Republicans ALSO support the idea of the central government telling you what you can and can't do, they just have a slightly different list of what is allowed, and a very different list of who is allowed to profit from it. Well, I do not think FancyFox is entirely wrong when watching what has happened with the EU globalist agenda and the mess that has brought them. I remember a year ago or so when EU members were criticizing the US for not being more involved "globally." Since that was an Obama agenda, I found the criticism amusing and transparent. Anyway, I back the Brits in Brexit, another topic though. I am also a little confused about why all of a sudden socialism has become equivalent to globalism. I mean, our agenda in Vietnam was the spread of Democracy. I think it's important to separate poor policies from any particular ideology. |

speaking of silly intellectual dishonesty cute group you've got there Harmony....race based groups of any color are unattractive. Hate comes in no good color. I frankly do not know of any white people who would support the agendas in that picture you posted. Haters are haters. A lot of them actually align with the Nationalist/Socialist party. And we all know what that is. |

The lunatic fringe {as in the pink floyd song} therefore has to TRY align itself with a legitimate party, or at least try to do so with it's more centric members to try to seem more "legit." Neither party can help who tries to glean an affiliation. Both parties would do well to distance themselves from groups with a race based agenda. Our political parties attempt to represent all Americans as much as possible so divisive racial idealogies have no place in government in this country. Those types of groups can go bite the big one as far as I am concerned. Traditionally, the Repubs wanted smaller gov't and the dems a larger admin. Bickering over the cost of government & allocations is really the divide, IMO. |

I agree with everything you said there Hates
I would only add a qualifier that many times 'agendas' are necessary and focused goals, and that at any time there are several that serve to uplift some of those at the bottom and indirectly lift everyone else with them... |
