you didnt answer my question, if she did this yesterday, then she peobably didnt want to be alone, or see you alone on the holiday. I would have done the same thing for my friend, and not wanted more. i think that after years of friendship and nothings come of it, then most likely nothing will.

I'd cook a guy friend dinner without any motive in mind. I do it if I didn't have anyone else to eat with and missed him.
I would definately ask her if I were you. |

Thats lame dude. Sounds like a start to a porno movie. Don't forget the porn music... Bow Chicka Wow Wow then move in slow motion. I think that always works. |

How about good company and good food???? It's a long shot, but entirely possible.........
With a friend, no need to put on airs, no questions to answer, no actions to defend.........a friend accepts you...warts and all. And, even above and beyond that...they love you anyway! |

I agree with whispers. I also think she may be wanting more from your relationship. Why not ask her out to dinner, now, two weeks later? Wine her and dine her and see if there are sparks! |

hmm....seems fishy...but maybe they are really old friends. But I doubt it.

Because he needs cheering up or support of some kind, because he's sick, cripes...there could be a dozen reasons. Sometimes a man is the best kind of friend to have.

The greatest thing about this site is the wild responses it can get. I love it. |

I would cook for a male friend if I wanted to, or if I felt the 'need' and thought I'd get some!
Seriously - I have cooked for a Male friend b4 because he never cooked for himself, and I asked him to do me a favor and I couldnt pay him cash, so I paid him with food. (and I didnt 'get any' in case you were wondering) |

Not a Jerry and Elaine thing. They used to date then fell into a good friendship.
Yes, I'm a huge Seinfeld fan and have a similar relationship with an ex. The IT factor is gone, but a true friendship remains. Could be a number of things. She was probably wanting to hang with you and eat. As said previously, it is no fun to cook for one. If she was digging on you, she might have brought a movie and purposely snuggled. Did that happen? I agree with Michele. I like to cook and it's more fun to cook with/for someone. Was she more flirtatious than usual when cooking with you? And yes, the movie thing would be a dead giveaway! |
