This is a bit like the difference between "sexy," and "creepy."

When someone loves you, or is in love with you, all manner of things you do will charm them. An unfortunate sign that their love is waning, is when those same things becomes points of complaint to them.

quirky is when she wants to make your lunch for you each day. Crazy is when she has a panic attack if she can't do that.
