How fuzzy logic is applied
Fuzzy Set Theory defines Fuzzy Operators on Fuzzy Sets. The problem in applying this is that the appropriate Fuzzy Operator may not be known. For this reason, Fuzzy logic usually uses IF/THEN rules, or constructs that are equivalent, such as fuzzy associative matrices. Rules are usually expressed in the form: IF variable IS set THEN action For example, an extremely simple temperature regulator that uses a fan might look like this: IF temperature IS very cold THEN stop fan IF temperature IS cold THEN turn down fan IF temperature IS normal THEN maintain level IF temperature IS hot THEN speed up fan Notice there is no "ELSE". All of the rules are evaluated, because the temperature might be "cold" and "normal" at the same time to differing degrees. I hope no one calls the fuzz on this one. |

~ A Fuzzy Poem ~
I had a fuzzy girlfriend who kissed my fuzzy face she wanted patent leather but I told her I like lace Her blurry furry fluffy hair was fuzzier than fog and when we had our first affair she behaved just like a dog Like fuzzy rats and fuzzy bats and fuzzy feline cats She’d look at me with fuzzy eyes when we would have our spats Her persona wasn’t fuzzy it was clear as crystal glass the bimbo had no intellect and lacked a touch of class But her fuzzy body captured me her fatty bottom held me down! I must have been a bleary bloke or freaking fuzzy clown! ~~~ Abra (11/22/07) |

from the Wiki...
"Eggnog (or egg nog) is a sweetened dairy-based beverage made with milk, cream, sugar, beaten eggs (which gives it a frothy texture), and flavoured with ground cinnamon and nutmeg; alcoholic versions also exist with the addition of various liquors, such as rum, brandy, or whisky. Eggnog is popular in North America. Eggnog is associated with winter celebrations..." ![]() |
