I was doing so great, talking, chatting and occasional phone calls to new friends. Thats when a mutual friend told me how depressing it was going to be to be without a significant other around the holidays.
Thats when I realized she was right...Now what do I do? Besides cold showers and jogging. What do single people do to forget that this year they spend the cold days and night alone? |

Hug your kids (if you have any) Ask Santa to send you that someone special that you keep wishing was next to you Good luck, i know how you feel about the holidays and no special someone to share it with

I know exactly how you feel. UGH! I try to fill up my days so that I don't think about being alone. Winter is the worst for me...it seems so cold and depressing. Try to fill up your days with events around town or get together with some friends.

May I suggest playing the crane machine, and stocking up on stuffed animals........they keep you warm and you can cuddle up to them...........

The pillow I use is warm and comfortable, I'm all over it every night. Its the one that sits next to me, That one is freezing. Thanks for the advice. I love my family. |

Although I know I'm not helpless Its just been the first time I enjoyed Thanksgiving without someone special. Soon this will all change. Sooner then later. Besides I still have 30 days till Christmas. |
