i enjoy dark magick, not satanism, satanism requires an acknowlegement of judeao/christian mythology and a choice to go against them within their own beliefs, i reject them as i dont believe in them, not because i choose to do what they say is wrong

Lizard...

I will remember your words when you post in the future.

I will not be shy to point out your hidden agenda, that disguises your ill will.

Nothing good can possibly come from any of your remarks as long as it is known that you embrace a religion bent on the defamation of Christianity.

There exists no objectivity in your heart that warrants credible entertainment of your input as anyhting other than it is; a commercial for dark magic.

I pity you.

Ill will seeking a victim is despicable, and a callous reminder of the need for mutual respect and dignity.

Shame on you!!!!

hidden agenda? i think not,I use the simon necronomicon to give myself visions Never to hurt anyone NEVER. The only reason what i do is considered dark magick is because of the risk associated with it to the user, IE me
And frankly anyone using magick to try and hurt anyone else is stupid, the rule of 3 comes down hard on them
However i wont deny being hellbent on the destruction of christianity, just not with magick. I prefer to use my words and wit and arguments.
While were at it let me ask u: how many people have died in the name of the craft? answer: those killed by christians,
How many people have died in the name of christ? countless, including those who wouldnt renounce magick (oddly enough many of them were christians)

Interesting. I'm interested in what you consider to be "dark" magick. I ask because it is my personal belief that Magick itself is neither "dark" (a.k.a. black) or "white." I believe what is either "good" or "bad" is the intent of the practioner of the magick. Magick is merely the tool. Intent is the key. However, I also personally believe that there is darkness (evil) and light (good) within each of us. I believe that for us to have a healthy soul we must keep a balance between the "dark" and the "light" within us. Tip the scales too far either way and it makes for an unhealthy soul. So, I'm very interested in reading what you believe "dark" magick to be.

The rule of three... are you referring to the Wiccan Rede? As I understand it not all Pagans and Witches acknowledge this rule of three because it's a Wiccan concept. Yes, many Witches and Pagans believe in Karma, what goes around comes around, the Golden Rule, ect. but those are basic morals that many individuals have no matter their religious/spiritual beliefs. However, in working with the darker aspects of magick as you say you do, I'm sure you already know that we can't go through life without harming someone, directly or indirectly. Personally when it comes right down to it, I'm out to protect my children, my loved ones, and myself from those who may want to harm us, slander us, or cause us trouble. Magickally speaking, in protecting us if I happen to harm someone, then that's the way it must be, I'm ready to live the reprecussions of my actions if theres any at all. But I for one will not be chained to the dogma called the rule of three, a.k.a. The Wiccan Rede... besides... I'm not a Wiccan. lol

Well, Lizard.

I suppose the ones that must turn the other cheek can assume to be railroaded in boxcars like sheep.

Pretty picture indeed.

Maybe they found comfort in living to fight another day and call it quits.

Or maybe they found comfort in living to love another day.

Or maybe they found comfort in living in the natural order of things.

Either way, it should not be.

Countless Christians have been slaughtered by Christians.

Can you tell the real from the counterfeit?

I can and do.

valkierie, im obviously not a wiccan but the rule of 3 is still a good rule 2 follow, just out of common sense
and the reason i consider what i do to be "dark" magick is because i basically use the simon-necronomicon mixed with chaos magick to give myself bizzarre visions and headtrips, i often feel sick afterwards, a negative effect and as such negative magick

And woodie: r u suggesting that the christians killed by other christians were fake christians so its less of a crime?
That seems rather sick 2 me

Uh... you do realize that what you are referring to is a fictional book from the 70's, right? While I do believe in chaos magick, this whole Simon Necronomicon thing is a work of fiction. Kind of like the TV shows "Charmed" and Buffy The Vampire Slayer" and the movie "The Craft" are a work of fiction.

The Necronomicon
http://altreligion.about.com/library/weekly/aa031003a.htm

Written in Damascus in 730 A.D. by the "Mad Arab" Abdul Alhazred, it's the most evil of the black magick Grimoires. Its use has propelled the unwitting into violence, insanity, and death. Just looking inside without proper precautions can render a person insane....right? Hardly.
The Necronomicon, or "Book of Dead Names," is pure invention. It was originally conceived as a literary device by horror writer H. P. Lovecraft, as background for his story The Hound. In the fictional history he later created, the Necronomicon was the product of an Arab poet, Abdul Alhazred, who worshipped extra-terrestrial deities named "Yog-Sothoth" and "Cthulhu."

Lovecraft wrote about a dozen or so stories that made reference to the Necronomicon and related characters- what are now known collectively as the "Cthulhu Mythos."

Other writers- friends of Lovecraft- took the idea and ran with it, producing dozens more stories with references to the Necronomicon and Lovecraft's race of ancient Godlike extraterrestrials. Enchanted readers naturally assumed that the numerous references were to real legends, and Lovecraft was delighted by this. However, when many fans wrote to Lovecraft to inquire about the Necronomicon, he always replied truthfully that it was his own invention.

Lovecraft briefly considered but eventually decided not to create an actual text for the Necronomicon, although he did write a detailed "history." In a letter to colleagues written in 1936, he wrote "If anyone were to try to write the Necronomicon, it would disappoint all those who have shuddered at cryptic references to it." This is probably true, but it hasn't stopped a score of imitators from trying their hand at various Necronomicon hoaxes. The most common of these, which can be found for sale at most book retailers, is called the "Simon" Necronomicon, after its supposed translator, an Orthodox Bishop named Simon (in older editions, the mysterious Simon was a spy). The Simon Necronomicon contains invocations to various Sumerian deities, an assortment of fantasy sigils, and a collection of "spells" that appear to parody many found in authentic medieval grimoires.

The Simon Necronomicon is undoubtably a hoax- although claiming to be an ancient Sumerian manuscript, it is filled with anachronism- including distinctly medieval style sigils. Nevertheless, that hasn't stopped a number of conspiracy minded individuals from taking it all too seriously- including the notorious David Icke, who faithfully reprints it on his site to bolster his straight-faced claim of an evil alien conspiracy to rule the earth.

These things seem to take on a life of their own- various "true believers" will doubtless continue to claim, despite all evidence to the contrary, that the real Necronomicon is out there somewhere- hidden in the Vatican library, squirreled away by the Nazis, or concealed by a secret cult until the return of the "Old ones."

Ummm... you all lost me a long time ago! Was this suppose to be about the boogey man? Look out! He's under your bed! Lol. Anyway, I really don't care what someone's religion is. We are all free to believe as we choose. Just live and let live. Freedom is beautiful thing. Let's not ruin it.

Wow. I am not sure who's post I should be replying to. I consider myself Wiccan, Pagan, Witch, etc. I also follow the Wiccan Rede, and believe very strongly in karmic law. However, it is also good for each of us to learn more about why we follow any particular faith. What is the history surrounding our beliefs? Why to we believe what we do? Are there any doubts, and why? Let's build our understanding. Tomorrow, I may change my mind, because something I learned may make a impact on my life. Nothing is set in stone. Blessed Be!

Ok. I can't really say anything else about it. Your experiences are your and yours alone.
