My husband worked and worked this dough and it never got tough and was always delicious.

Work together a quarter pound of butter and a quarter pound of cream cheese, then work in a cup of sifted flour. If you want a top crust, probably double this.

Anothe easy recipe:

2 cups flour
1 cup shortening
1/2 cup 7up

You'll have to flour it well, before rolling, but it is a very
tender, flaky recipe.

perfect pie crust everytime

1 1/2 cups of flour
2 tblsp sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/3 cup of cooking oil

mix right in the pie pan and spread up the sides. Poke holes with a fork and bake at 350 for 12 minutes then add your filling and bake for how ever long the filling takes.
