Sweet Dark Meat Gobble Gobble plans have been changing but I've got a plan now. Decided it was NOT financially feasible to figure out how to cook. So I've accepted a friend's invite for dinner. My 7 year old daughter, though, is going to make a fruit salad (with dad's supervision). Going to let her do it all herself. She's totally excited about it....me too.

It does sound like you and your daughter will have a great time,

I agree w/ you always... They will have so much fun making things together. I remember doing that when I was younger with my mom...oh the memories

Lessons would be good. A lot of stuff I can figure out, I'm Italian, it's supposed to me innate. Unfortunately, I can just see a wonderfully ruined turkey.

Well, yes. The idea is to create bonding moments and memories, even if it's simple stuff. Dad's a smart one!

I think what will mess me up the most is timing how long it will take to cook it.
