LMAO... I heard a joke to day about turkeys and it follows as such:

If the Indians gave the Pilgrims a donkey instead of a turkey we would all be getting a piece of ass for thanksgiving!

Yes when the Pilgrims came to the US they did not know the land at all. They could build houses, bridges, etc but as for finding food they knew how to shoot livestock. The Indians where the ones who taught them how to till the fields and grow fruits/vegatables. As well as how to replinish the earth after what the Pilgrims have taken was gone.
