I hope they will be willing to contribute,

They've already contributed.
- "City voters have approved three property tax increases in as many years"

Liberalism is great until you run out of other peoples money.
or so they say.

The quote is "The trouble with Socialism is that eventually you run out of other people’s money."

Liberalism as it's practiced/believed in today is not great in any way.

and conservatism is great, until you run out of your own,,,

More difficult to run out of your own money when liberals and government aren't taking your money from you.

which more and more people are doing in THIS country

In no small part due to liberal ideology put into action.

Like this:
"spending generates income which keeps the economy flowing,"
That's little different than 2 fat grade school kids given chocolate bars to sell standing around with a single $1 bill between them saying "I'll give you a dollar for a chocolate bar," and just passing the same dollar back and forth while consuming each others chocolate.
The economy flowing simply for the sake of a flowing economy is not a sustainable economy.
Now we're 20 trillion in debt so the chocolate industry won't fail to make sure that $1 dollar keeps flowing through the economy.

let people just 'go without' long enough , and the economy flops too, because noone has anything left to contribute,,,,

Not really. New economy's/markets are formed. People innovate in the value they can add in order to get the things they need using alternative methods of exchange.

The only thing that flops are the markets/economy that is controlled.

I see homeless everyday and I have been following the issue for many years.

I have come to the conclusion that it is an industry like any other "housing" market where a great deal of the money is blown on waste and fraud. Shelters' are few and far between but hotel, boarding houses, Section 8,and substandard apartments that would go bankrupt without the subsidy of vouchers are cash cows.

I personally know a lady. I like her. But she has a section section 8 house .. for her ENTIRE adult life. She had kids.. by a few guys. that is the claim to fame.

who paid for her housing?.. food?.. and who knows what else

we all did

not right .. sorry.. I like her.. but didn't sign up to carry her for a lifetime

the system is broke

I can't agree with this more
Being single and in a high tax bracket you don't get squat back. I am the go to guy for the rich & the so called poor. Yes I know some are deserving. AND TO MUCH INCENTIVE TO HAVE CHILDREN! BROKE BROKE BROKE!

section 8 is not really much, if any, of an incentive to have more kids since it only helps with rent and doesn't pay anyone cash directly.

and welfare, though it differs state by state, is rarely helping with any amount that anyone would PREFER when trying to raise kids,,,
