I mean if it's 2020 and it's Trump vs. Hillary part deux with Oprah running 3rd party spouting libertarian free market or capitalistic ideals (which made her "empire" possible), I'd probably vote for her.

Oprah didn't really give away the cars. Pontiac gave away the cars as part of a promotion, on Oprah's show.
The cars legally counted as prize winnings and were taxed as income, so recipients had to pay several thousand dollars to keep or sell the cars.

IME that's pretty much what politicians and especially democrats/liberals do.
Downplay corporate influence, increase the tax bill, screw people over, all while getting the people to believe the politician is doing something positive by pointing to a short term tangible benefit that really hurts people in the long run.

And you have to paint a pretty picture when you speak to people.

I guaranty Harpo Productions was the recipient of the vehicles then upped the full retail value of the vehicles when they gave the cars away taking full price tax deduction on the giveaway. You're right, the audience did get taxed on the full poke value

not to mention passing up private lucrative law to work in underserved communities

ran on healthcare reform which was passed, and representing Americans of all types, which he exemplified in his support of same sex marriage and reformation of drug laws and adding jobs that were previously hemorrhaging,,





Clinton, likewise, showed GREAT integrity in her choices to pursue civil service instead of private status and wealth, in assisting the underserved to get basic healthcare that she could already provide her family, in working with battered women, and in choosing to run against a dog of a man without sinking to his level


Trump, by comparison, well there is none

born wealthy, spent a life giving to nothing that didn't serve as status or increase to his own wealth, three marriages, six bankruptcies, thousands of lawsuits, dozens of flip flops just during a year of campaigning, never changed his own kids diapers, constant namecalling and empty accusations against any one that accuses or blames him for anything, talks about women like animals and uses his status to treat them like it too,,,,the list of things that are the OPPOSITE of integrity are too numerous to list here

Hillary has political experience, but I am against her in most of her views. And her opposition had really come against her.

Obamacare does not seem to be working quite as well as Obama had said it would. Remember, if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor. Hogwash! And liberals would bring us toward globalization, where we were part of the world, and not so much part of the country. Many of us who believe in God, do not believe in liberalism.

I know OBamacare wasn't everyone's cup of tea, but its working better for 20 million who signed up and those who could not afford it or be eligible before. I feel those stories outnumber and make the other stories worth it.

I believe people are brainwashed to hate conservatives or liberals and define them by the most extreme characterizations. I believe BALANCE is important, where we are united as Americans but embracing of the WORLD as well.

OF course conservatives are labeled as seeking homogeneity and stagnation and liberals are labeled as without boundary or standards. I believe most people actually don't fall on either such extreme, but may only lean further one way than the other.

I believe in God and the BALANCE taught by Jesus of discipline, love , AND compassion.

Gates didn't come from poverty. His father was a very successful attorney and his mother was a very successful businesswoman.
