That 'it' will last? That special feeling you have for someone?

Right now, I'm just trying to enjoy the ride and look no further than tomorrow (actually tomorrow and the next month due to holiday events).

Ouch, not like me to get deep. I blame the Nyquil. Someone shoot me, but share your thoughts before you do.

To me, there's no way to passively tell if a relationship can last. You can't look at the signs and say, "Yup, this is guaranteed to work out." Lasting relationships happen because both partners consciously commit on a daily basis to make the relationship work.

well i would say that for me it is like someone stuffed my mouth full of habaneros. that is a good sign. i remember not being able to believe that she actually wanted to be with me. really. i could not even believe it. then after a couple of months of her only wanting to be with me and doing all the little things to be nice to me...i finally realized that she really loved me in the deepest and most sincere way possible - this endures. and for me i have been fortunate enough to feel something like this a handfull of times in my life. and it always lasts - i think of it as the essence of being human. it is unmistakable for me and i will without a doubt always know it when i feel it. it is overwhelming. and that, is what i have experienced.

You don't know IT will last, that's the thing. Each step closer is a bigger chance.

maybe you should stay on the nyquil it will help you get past all the holidays, hee haw

I was and still am totally head over heels in love. She broke my heart a month ago. I thought she was the one.

You never know what can happen in life. It can throw you a doozy of a curveball out of nowhere. Have fun while it lasts.
