Wow. That's a good question and difficult to answer.
Once upon a time i might have said people got treated that way and became that way. However i have observed very small children who act in ways that surprise in their capacity to be awful |

just in research, I noticed that Norway, which has more 'social safety nets',, or basics afforded to all,,also has a lower recidivism in their prison systems as well
I plan to dig deeper and see if this is a trend with other such countries , but if it is it would seem to reinforce the idea that how we treat people at the basic human level makes a huge difference in how they behave and interact as humans,,,, |

but which came/comes first?
You are talking about 2 separate issues. There is no "first." some believe if you treat someone like an animal, they are much more LIKELY to act like one
People incarcerated tend to prove this. Same with students who go to schools that are run like prisons. others believe if someone acts like an animal, they should be treated like one
Mothers have been saying something similar for a long time. "You act like a baby, I'm going to treat you like one." When someone wins the lottery many times they lose the self discipline and ability to delay gratification when they can get what they want when they want it how they want it by simply throwing money at things. They start acting like spoiled children, unable to cope with not getting their way. If a child is raised "spoiled," without adult expectations placed on them, given whatever they want, they are more likely to act like a baby, and be treated as such by people that have to take responsibility for them. There is no "first." It's 2 separate issues. People can be socialized in the first place into an "animal" and people can be resocialized into becoming like "animals," overcoming previous social training. |

the beginning comes first after the beginning comes the next next is usually but not always a product produced from the beginning even if the beginning is the observation mode then you move to next and make contact your contact is based on your observations but was your observation random or brought on by an action well now we are back at the beginning gggrrrrr lol but contact being made is more than likely a result of an action if the action was nice or good the contact will likely be the same but if mean orbad this is where your experiment actually starts do you try to convert the mean action with good actions or do you condemn the action which will more than likely raise the tensions that were brought on by the bad or mean actions to begin with best i can say is always be nice till you have no choice but if you have no choice WIN |

Well personally I think you treat people the way you would like to be treated... I think that answers pretty much the whole question...lol

Treat No, "Trick" comes first. Wait, what was the topic again? |
|
|

Treatment, taken into consideration their background and the surrounding atmosphere... you might treat someone very well but because of their background/being influenced by something/someone else, they might respond with unexpected actions or with actions that show some sort of ingratitude.
