Hmm, this topic would be interesting if anyone was actually DISCUSSING. When someone offeres no support, they usually don't know shiz about what they're saying.

Well, what is your opinion?

So if god is dead, then what will all the people who need a god do?

Will they run around all upset?

I still need to know which god...and if it was a boy god or a girl god...

Can something that never existed die? Or are we talking the concept, which, sadly, is nowhere near dead?

well, no one's here but me and my God, so the one that died must be an imposter.

Used to know them all, but they choked when Big Daddy came to visit me!!! bigsmile

People wouldn't be so quick to ask to delete threads when they're aimed at only creating issues - not trying to solve them. Before you get in a fuss about someone requesting the deletion of the thread, think about what it is you're saying, rather than just blurting it out, and looking foolish.

Back on topic.
God is Not dead.
Note that I used a big 'G' instead of a little g, assuming you mean the God of the universe - the Creator God, the King of Kings, and the Lord of Lords.
If not, then shucks, keep moving along, I suppose.
God cannot be killed. The only reason death is in the world is because -Man- sinned, and created it, despite every opportunity not to have that happen. Since God is sinless, death could not possibly take effect over him - as he is above everything else.

Please try to keep the thread respectful. =\

Can anyone prove god was ever alive?

God is nothing more than the highest of all creatures.

Therefore if there is no supreme being, then I guess that leaves me as the highest of all creatures.

So there you go. I’m alive! laugh

Well, as long as it doesn’t have “Made in Taiwan” stamped on the bottom of it, I’m all for it!

What is the criteria for being a god?

As I said before, it just the highest of all creatures. Thus far I’m the only God I know. laugh

Sometimes when I get bored I decide to be God.

Old God’s never die, they just become Middle Eastern Mythology.

I have no clue. My god is quit young yet. She’s only about14 billion years old. Just a toddler as deities go. It is possible that she had existed prior to her birth in the same way that we have. But that wouldn’t add to her age because age is a physical thing. She can only age whilst she’s in the physical form. As soon as her boobs start sagging she just has another Big Band and does the whole thing all over again.

Wouldn’t you like to know HER secret? laugh

By the way, you for got to ask whether a god’s parents ever come to the funeral.

This is one reason I have personally accepted that the Bible can’t possibly be true. The authors of it clearly didn’t understand their world and this proclamation clearly shows their ignorance.

It’s perfectly clear that death did exist prior to man arriving on the scene. Dinosaurs lived and died (as well a millions of other species of animals) long before man ever appeared on the scene. Therefore, if the Bible claims that man’s sin caused death, then the Bible is clearly wrong and must be discarded as nothing more than the lies of men.

The original authors who wrote this stuff clearly had no clue about the true nature of the world. drinker
