everyone be careful this thanksgiving.
between all the driving, cooking, and ahem.... "celebrating" (in the liquid form) thanksgiving's gonna be a busy time for us first responders. (deep frying a turkey can cause a fire if you're not careful. over 500 fires nationwide in 1999) and i'd just hate to hear about one of you getting hurt on such a happy holiday. happy thanksgiving! |

amen on the fried turkey,, if you dont know what your doing,, dont mess with it,, it can explode and 375 degree oil can do alot of bad things to skin and anything it touches,, and dont do it inside,, you want to burn your house down?

Thanks for reminding everyone. I work in a hospital and over the holidays the emergency rooms are extra busy.
I agree for anyone driving on the holidays, please be extra careful, and if you plan to drink - PLEASE - choose a designated driver. |

i dont wanna have to come get anyones car cause they totaled it due to drinking,, but since im working,, maybe we all can have a virtual thanksgiving,,, hows that?

I think this town offers free towing for people who are drunk and not able to drive home, and free taxi rides too. |

not to mention us firefighters that have to wake up in the freezing cold to cut you out of your car. (i had one of those calls 2 nights ago. not pretty.)

we had to figure out a few weeks ago how someone hit a tree 5 foot up and wrapped around it and stuck up there with nothing of the car touching the ground,, they estimated the guys speed around 110 when he hit it

To many people messed up and driving these days, then ya got the ones who PUSH their selves to far, and fall asleep.
Alot with NO BELTS on and ALOT just crushed because of to fast moving or what they hit.
