I know for a fact being to honest to someone can be bad at times, I am going through this right now with a friend of mine. I try to be 100% honest but nice at the same time, however my friend gets so upset and pissed at answers I get to questions she asks me.

No...I don't think so. I wouldn't want to intentionally hurt someone's feeling though...

illusion. I agree with you on this one. I too believe im genuine. Some people dont want the truth, this is ironic yet the people looking for "faithful" men dont enjoy honesty... I know this for fact

absolutely it can be bad. "white lies" are what keep and make a relationship. It is necessary to tell them to keep from insulting your mate. If your mate says "Don't I look good in this?" and you think she looks like hell, don't start a fight by telling her the truthnoway . About major stuff, you bet, be honest to the core, but personal stuff, esteem stuff, be very diplomatic...laugh

Butt a Big butt is good =)

SO arnt women lieing when they say they want a honest man? I somtimes feel as though i am applying for a job on this site and my profile is a application, no job offers. Resume may not be appealing?

I think that it depends. How long have you known this person? Like, if you just met the person, I would say that being too honest would be a bad thing. But if you knew them for like a couple months or longer than I would say that being too honest would be a good thing.

Another reason that it depends is what exactly are you talking about??

I can smell deception, white lies, omissions a mile away, and woe betide the man who tries the silver tongue platitudes with me.

devil

He can expect brutal honesty from me, and if he can't handle the truth, he best keep on walking.

Maybe that is why I am single.laugh laugh laugh

I guess what im getting at is, women/men in general are too specific on what they want. I want a faithful man yet being too faithful leads to being too secure which leads somtimes into cheating. I want someone who can make me laugh, yet making someone laugh too much is considered immature. I want someone romantic, yet when your too romantic women somtimes want a "real man" in certain situations, agreed?

Im not attacking women, this goes both ways, im just using what i see in alot of womens profiles as examples
