Anyone else think dating at this age is harder than when we were younger?

Dating has always been difficult for me.

No! not harder just more moving parts..is all..you have to be good at balancing your time.. but I think at this age you know more about what you want.. and who you are... and therefore each party is a little more picky ... shall we say.....but love is love..
no matter the.age..

Well I will say it has seemed as if I were able to get a date easier in my twenties as opposed to my thirties.

Oh yeah. Absolutely. It's not so much that it's harder now, as that it's more complicated and painfully difficult in a different way.

When I was a kid, it was hard to work up the stamina and willingness to accept abuse required to ask a girl out (or in, as the case may be). The problem then, was fear that she'd declare me to be a worthless jerk on sight, followed by the fear that she'd laugh at what I proposed to do on the "date," and so on. Fear of the unknown, essentially.

Now it's fear of repeating the all too well known.

Too young to be a cub...
