Samsung S5 note
It's got a nice screen. I think I'll wait awhile before I upgrade, since their last model blows up. |

My phone was so old it came with a suit case.. to carry the batteries.
I upgraded to an iPhone 4S but don't like Apples so now have a secondhand Samsung S4.. hate all the junk they install on phones now. |

I really do not know why they call it a smart phone when it appears it is making the majority of the population dumber. Hell many kids do not even know basic math anymore because of the built in calculator. 80% of Canadian households have overextended their credit and have massive amounts of debt. People feel "naked" if they go out without their phone. Samsung S5 because I refuse to pay through the nose for the very latest technology.

I don't like any of the modern phones, primarily because all of them seem to have been designed so that they look very sleek and stylish while flying through the air.
But none of them are designed to hold in your hand, and function as a phone (or a camera, or anything else). I currently have a work-provided Samsung Galaxy 7. Like most modern phones, the designers placed the microphone precisely so that my finger covers it if I hold the phone securely enough not to drop it; they positioned the volume controls, so that as I hold the phone to my ear, I will accidentally lower the volume to zero; and they positioned the power button so that likewise, I accidentally turn the phone off whenever I pick it up. Most insane of all, the speaker is inexplicably at the BOTTOM of the phone. As far from my ear as they could place it. (???) No idea why. And of course, as with all modern cell phones, there is no way to keep it secure in any useful pocket. It is designed to slide smoothly into a breast pocket, so of course, it slides just as smoothly out again. On top of the universally bad ergonomics, my work has saddled us with Sprint as the carrier, instead of more expensive (but seemingly more functional) At&T which we had before. The audio quality is terrible, and must be set at maximum volume at all times to hear anything. Most calls suffer from breakups, distortions and gaps in audio, so they usually take twice as long to conduct any conversation. |

I have the iPhone 6 Plus because it integrates seamlessly with my Macbook laptop. Had the iPhone 5C and immediately noticed how much better the camera was on the iPhone 6 Plus. I also got the 6 Plus because the screen is slightly bigger than the iPhone 5C that I upgraded from. Much nicer for the aging eyes.
I don't use it on social media, I've got a desktop and laptop for that. Mainly use apps like Gasbuddy and Maps and the camera. I create my shopping and to-do lists on my laptop on my downtime and the lists immediately are available on my smart phone. |

Samsung Galaxy. I dig androids because of the whole open source thing that allows users to watch movies and shows free, download music for free and all the other customizable options.

Good for you. Why do you think that GooGoo calls their phone an Android? It is because they are for androids. I am on the computer staff of a major university and I am here to tell you that there is no such thing as a smart phone. The closest anyone ever got was the e90 Communicator. It has all been down hill since then....and... everyone is stealing everything from everyone.. Who is John Galt? See The Fountainhead and See Atlas Shrugged |
