Topic: Best Concert Ever | |

Ok guys here's another one - what's the best concert you've ever been to ? Mine hands down was Yes after they got back together & Rick Wakeman rejoined the band.

I saw Yes a number of times back in the early to mid 70's. The first time was with Bill Bruford on drums. They were excellent, but something about Jon Anderson's stage presence detracted a little bit for me. Loved his voice, but his performing skills not so much...
My best was The Who at Madison Square Garden on the Quadrophenia tour. To see that band at the height of their power was something I'll never forget... |

Eagles - Hell Freezes Over 94. 3rd row seats almost center stage. Joe Walsh & Timothy B. Schmit side. Fantastic show.

I am so jealous, Yes is at the top of my list of bands I wish I would've seen! The list isn't feeling sorry for myself, it's a reminder of bands I'm really into, if I have an opportunity to see them, I should do it.unfortunately, a lot of the bands on said list have members that have passed, like Nirvana. Could've seen them their last tour, but was guilted into band practice. Long story, wrong choice. Oh well.

I don't go to a lot of concerts so I would say The Flaming Lips free concert at Nathan Phillips Square in Toronto 2015
The show included frontman Wayne Coyne’s signature man-sized plastic bubble, in which he traversed the audience. |

Best concert, Well,Most Fun: the Offspring, only because I had all access passes, and the singer picked a fight with me because I was onstage stirring up the audience while the roadies set up.
Most Impressed: Plant and Page! I grew up on Led Zeppelin, wasn't a huge fan in my twenties, got free tickets, and was totally blown away. The arrangements, guest musicians, and show were beyond what I expected! Most emotionally remembered, split 2 shows, Monsters of Rock and Neil Young, with Soundgarden. Niel Young was the last concert I saw with my mom. She always encouraged my interest in music, and she went to a lot of concerts with me and/or brother. At Monsters of Rock, I've never since, have I EVER seen a 5'3" 80lb woman actually stop a mosh pit mid song to help someone who fell. I doubt anyone else has ever managed to achieve the same. She had a much bigger presence than her physical stature! Best show I later in was with a band called Superdriver when we opened for The Red Elvis' |

Wish I has seen the Who that must have been an incredible concert! They're one of several bands I wish I had seen like Queen, Bowie and Little Feat before Lowell George died. Though I am lucky I did get to see quite a few. Reminds me of a Tshirt I saw - "I may be old but I got to see all the cool bands".

Though I am lucky I did get to see quite a few. Reminds me of a Tshirt I saw - "I may be old but I got to see all the cool bands". Queen was the tightest band I ever saw. Absolutely phenomenal. If I had to pick a number two they'd be it. |

Dire Straits, boy can he play that guitar.
Although it was years ago and I was stoned, great days. |

Knopfler does have a sweet sound. Speaking of "boy can he play that guitar," Rick Nielsen is quite underrated and very entertaining live.

The Wall, Floyd then-and right through to Roger Waters now,
Blows me away every time, if you ever get the chance, please go and see for yourself. |

My best concert ever? It was probably the first time I saw Neil Young. Why was it my best concert? Did I mention that it was the first time I saw Neil live? It was probably around 1981 or 1982.
