funny you say "use your brains" when you are talking like you never have opened a science book... if you wanna believe in a fantasy, more power to ya, but you shouldn't mock those who have read and understood evolution...

How many Gods are there up there? And which one actually created our world.. or was it a group project.

We only have believes and live with it. No bad in it, but dont shout much with it. Keep it with yourself. And some people need to go back to school again. slaphead

God gives us our heart to love, to see his beauty in creation, to have compassion, kindness in giving from our hearts. Many of us have unique talents that shine upon this earth. We use his wisdom to guide our own lives and to help others. These are just a few of his blessings. The Holy Spirit guides and teaches us. Forgiveness and faith is the key that opens the door to his supernatural power. When I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior, my life certainly changed, the battle was on because we then became the enemy of Satan. I have had many personal supernatural experiences and there is no doubt whatsoever in my mind that God does exist. I'm not a church goer, my teacher is the Holy Spiirit and that is the only way I've ever been able to grow in my walk with my Lord. The bible was a book I could hardly understand at one time, bit by bit, my eyes were open to Gods wondrous ways. Building up a relationship with the Father in heaven was amazing because everything I struggled with in learning, God was giving me the confidence that had been crushed in me. Prayer was my way of communicating and I found that God was helping me to forgive all the hurt and suffering that I had been through. I started praying for those people and the peace I felt within started to flow freely. The word of God became alive me, not through mans doing but because I believed and reached out. My life is far from perfect, I've been a rebel and sometimes get very angry at God. Every day is a battle for me, but without the grace and mercy of God, this lady would not be here. People have the right to choose, God gives us this choice, I guess for me, I was blessed because if any of you know the song Amazing Grace, that was me the wretch, I was once lost and now am found, I was once blind but now I see. (Spiritually speaking ) have a very blessed day.

How can you not believe in a higher power, look i dont care what you believe in but for someone to say that no higher power exist, that we evolved from monkeys?? Lets say thats true we evolved from monkeys... who put the monkeys here, lets say the big bang theory is also true, humans didnt sprout from the ground or fly together magically in a cloud of hot molten rock. Come on people use your brains

One of the things I use my brain for is to become comfortable with "I don't know" and refrain as much as possible from believing my own or others stories that attempt to fill in the gaps of my own ignorance.

Oh and I don't see knowledge as a sin

Interesting you see people who believe as refusing knowledge. This is very possible. The scriptures do not teach not to learn.

Hos 4:6

6 Cut off have been My people for lack of knowledge,
YLT

Hos 4:6
6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.
NKJV

But what is knowledge? It can be good or bad. But wanting to learn as much as you can to see other opinions in a spirit of peace can hardly be wrong.

Knowledge by its self is neither good nor bad more accurately it is either
accurate or inaccurate
useful or not useful
harmful or harmless

For accuracy my preference for testing is more the scientific method along with personal judgement rather than testing against the writings of ancient men

For usefulness that depends on intent

For harm it usually requires bad intent or ignorance of consequence

There will always be conflict between knowledge and ignorance simply because humanities knowledge will never be complete. Even if we managed to know it all we do not have the capacity to know it all at any one point in time. But starting from the point that the gaining of knowledge is a sin is going to add an unnecessary distortion to humanities thinking in my humble opinion.

I agree that wanting to learn as much as you can to see other opinions in a spirit of peace can hardly be wrong.

Can't agree more! God is the alpha and the omega. He's the over all producer, writer, director of the universe, galaxy, world we live in.

God does exist

Tell these kids that, and don't forget to tell them how merciful and fair this god is...

I hope that you won't mind my sharing the following poem with you:

"Be Still (A "Life" Journey)

"Be still and know that I am God."
Being still I noticed my heart.
It beating caused wonder. Then I pondered
About other body parts-

my eyes, my ears, my nose, my mouth,
My brain, my bones, my skin,
My hands, my arms, my feet, my legs,
And other body parts within.

I thought about things that are in this world
Like life in little ponds and big seas.
I thought about animals, birds, insects,
And life under a microscope I've seen.

I thought about the sun, the moon, the stars,
And the awesome universe endless.
Then I thought about mankind and reasoned in my mind
That an Almighty God must exist,

That ignorantly conceived "big bang" and "evolution"
Stupid theory substitutes
Could not make rain showers,
Pretty rainbows, fragrant flowers,
And trees which continuously produce fruit.

And they couldn't make other awesome things
Exist that are so wondrously
Like the mind that thinks, the heart that feels,
And the recreation of life called a baby.

My question to the ones who still don't believe is,
'Seeing the complexities in life, why do you doubt it?'
I believe that you are just ignorant,
Because you haven't REALLY THOUGHT about it..

Open your mind. Think! Then you, too, will
See that this poem I wrote is not odd
From thinking about Psalms, 46:10, "Be sill,
And know that I am God."

The ultimate thing in the universe is what you call Brahman which has three qualities namely Sat Chi and Ananda. Its sense of existence is called Sat. Its conscious intelligence is called Chit and its nature is called Ananda which is Bliss. God or Ishua is emminent in Brahman. God is power compassion & love. God relates to humans as if God were a human that is why we refer to God as a Purshotama. As God also manifests in the individual as the higher sacreds and is in everyone it is called the Paramatman. The Paramatman manifests as Bogavati in Bagavate thru Auman and myself. This is the explanation of the Moola Mantra. Om satchitananda parabrahman. Purshotama parama ta ma. Sri bagavati sa me he. Sri bagavate na ma. Hari ok tat sat.

Louloujo, I love your post and honor your experience in seeing God in all things. Bravo! The greatest teachers of all time have had difficulty seeing as you do but it is the prize they have all strived to realize. The power of this realization was seen When a sage saw the Divine in fire and walked through it unharmed. Those who merely intellectualize are blocked from personally becoming conscious of reality. Amit Goswami speaks about his training as a quantum physicist blocking his perceptions in his earlier career.

Well I personally don't think he/it whatever you want to call him exists, I used to when I was an RC I gave up on it like 15 months ago now since my departed ex died of a heart atk, there was no need for her to die at such a young age. She was only 36. I was 27 when I had a front temporal lobectomy done, I did all the research before I went and had it did done cause it was a 50/50 shot on weither or not it work to get rid of my epilepsy, so it took about a weeks worth of reasonable reading/research for all of what would be done in this procedure. While on the table I had 2 heart atk's and a seizure to boot while they were operating on me, when I woke a few days later they told me of what happened so thanked them and also god too of this, so if I could survive all that why couldn't she survive hers flipping one.
Btw for those who don't what a lobectomy is it is the front part of the brain ok. So ya can't say there is there is purpose or anything of that nature bs, cause I can't really see it atm so ya it's all bs to me
As far as I'm concerned this rant of mine is over thanks for reading
Be well
