Do you enjoy going to social Gatherings? or do you absolutely dread going.? Social gatherings aren't my cup of tea. |

I read some where that people prefer to talk about them selves and others rather than talk about ideas.
Guess thats why Im not a social butterfly :butterfly: or even an

It depends, for me. Events with rules and expectations for me to adhere to, uh-uh. Done with those. Events where it's entirely up to me, how to dress, behave, and decide to bug out, great. Last such event, was the drag races in D C on Halloween. No requirements for me to do anything but show up, hang around until I felt like going home, and then go. Exactly. Same here. |

If its friends and family I am all for it but some events like work related I avoid like the plague.

The last time that I was at a social gathering, I said the wrong thing.

I don't hate social gathering. I like to see happy faces and get connected with people I haven't seen a long time or get acquainted with new friends. But it depends on my mood and the people attending the party, if I don't know somebody there, and have to go alone, I would definitely not feel comfortable so it's better to make an excuse not to go, but if I know anyone there or I have company whom I am comfortable with, I will go.

I don't like to go to work related gatherings, dinners, wine & dines, ect. because they are work. You have to always be "on"
I do have no problem going to gatherings where I can just be "me", |

As long as it is family or friends I'm all for it... once in a while~~~But like my alone time as well..
I only go to one for work a year and only cause it is at a Brewery and casual dress..... |
