Rain falling gently
Splashing against the window pane
A soft symphony for my ears
Laying down upon the bed
Closing my eyes
Letting the thoughts drift through my head
Rain falling, lulling me into sleep
Planting rain soaked visions in my dreams
My eyes twitch as I fall deeper into sleep
Dancing between the raindrops to their symphony
Becoming one with the raindrops
Falling and splashing against the window pane
Sliding down the glass
Dripping on to the siding
Falling again sliding through the grass
Slipping into a rushing stream
Swimming along with the current
Landing in a puddle, children laughing with delight
Splashing around, scooping up handfuls of water
And I awake to the sound of the rains gentle symphony
