1. I keep seeing my posted time is about 3 hours off. Is there a way to fix that?

2. I want to post a pic. I have a pic but need to crop it. Is there a way to crop it with the Paint program? I can get my pic boxed out but cant get it to copy/paste to a seperate folder.

3. I get email from people how do I know they are from this site not spammers? The inbox will have their name and the topic will be my screenname, saw your profile or something like that.I wont open any of them until I get this cleared. Thats all I need to do, crash my computer with a virus.

4. Any other words of wisdom would be appreciated.

1. The time is Pacific time, I'm pretty sure it shows that for everybody. So, I'm in Central, I have to add 2 hours to the posted time to figure the "real" time. I don't think there's any way to change it!

2. I use IrfanView to do crops. Never tried anything like that in Paint, although Paint is good for background colors and goofy little enhancements.

3. I have gotten very little spam here. Maybe 2 or 3 in 11 months. You could try checking their profile before you open the note, just to make sure that they really are members.

4. Best thing to do here is jump into the forums and post stuff. That's the best way for people to get to know you here, and you can get to know everybody as well by reading their posts. Have fun -- this is a great site with lots of really great people!
