To quote those great sages Jagger and Richards:

"Though mu-u-sic is migh-ty migh-ty fine...

Hot stu-u-ufff!!!

Can't get enough...!"

Whoever has ever experienced true love will always treasure it, and even if you have accidently lost it, you will always yearn for it.

it is a gift that is really hard to find and takes two equally connected people to recognize.

I'm a hopeful romantic, so yes - I believe it can happen - not like it does in the movies -- but, a more realistic version - sure!

THE REALISTIC VERSION IS SOMETIMES CALLED MATURE LOVE IT REQUIRES WORKING

THROUGH ISSUES WITH YOUR MATE TO GET THERE.....SOMETIMES PEOPLE WILL ''THROW THE

BABY OUT WITH THE BATH WATER'' VERY COMMON IN TODAYS WORLD.....

I don't think about true love, what's the point? It's like being obsessed with charity and looking down on those who have none.
I rather think about how I'm gonna treat myself come payday pitchfork
And no, I don't believe in "true love"... or is it "real love" ? How confusing...
Anyway, much that has to do with emotions ( love seems to be popular in a world of the self deluded and egotistical ) can be misrepresented, abused, taken adventage of and used as a torture tool so you can understand my reticence in expressing my belief on the created instead of the Creator.

I never did like that saying. laugh

I'm well past the stage of thinking a relationship is all candy & flowers... I was married for a long time.

BUT .... hope is important to me. If I do not believe I might meet someone and be happy at some point, there is a lot less of a reason to get up every morning. That's just the plain truth.

I am not one of those people who wants to grow old alone.

No I don't believe in true love, I was married for 36 years and my ex husband loved his alcohol more than his own wife and kids. I was faithful to him, and have yet to find an honest, faithful, God fearing man with good morals and good values. Most men I have met online are scammers, players or don't know what they want. It's said that women are complicated but my opinion is that men are more complicated than women as well as it's been said that "You have to wait on a woman"?! I've had to wait on more men than I can shake a stick at! Plus don't make promises that you can't keep!
