Im new to this but only will say ***waiting for ___ to connect? Could this be becasue maybe thier scared to answer, but i dont know the steps you should take when talking to someone on here, im more of a direct person i guess

They might not ever answer. I don't generally reply...unless I know the person...already. Try sending her an email first and see if she reply's to that. It is ONLY a sugggestion.

They might have their IM turned off...

Hello and Welcome to JSH......sometimes people don't answer IM's unless they have spoken to the person in emails first. Some guys use the IM's for cheap pick-up or nasty conversations, and the ladies are tired of it. Try to send an email first and then ask if you can IM......Just my opinion though.

Yeah most don't like to be sent an instant message and won't answer from someone new or someone they haven't talked to before. Best advice is to post in the forums and get to know peeps first. Send an email before an instant message, you'll get better results (cross your fingers though), good luck to ya!

Just depends if they see the instant message notice pop up on their screen. I know that I have missed it a few times myself. It doesnt hurt to email people you interested in at first but do what you think is best for yourself.

Yes I believe it will tell you you've been denied, but don't take that to heart. It's just because they are shy maybe.
