I believe that is called a rebound relationship. Whether or not it is a good idea is completely up to you. Personally I try not to become involved with someone that has just broken up with someone because I don't want to be the rebound person. It usually does not last. Just be honest with the next person and let the choice be theirs. Who knows, they may actually be the one.

I don't think getting on with a new relationship after a break up is helpful to make you get over the heartache of the previous one. It would be unfair to the new guy. Better heal yourself first before going to a new relationship.

BAD IDEA IF YOU HAVE NOT LEARNED A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF AND WHY YOU WERE ATTRACTED TO THE LAST ONE .......A RELATIONSHIP THAT WE DO NOT GROW EMOTIONALLY I BELIEVE IS A WASTE OF TIME AND ENERGY.. P.S. LIKE WHAT NEED WERE YOU TRYING TO SATISFY IN THE LAST RELATIONSHIP ? |

Yes it is a good idea. Everyone do that. It's easier. When I was it that kind of situation my friend suggested me dating sites like lasvegas.partyline, tinder, match something like that. It's healthy to get over someone.

Personally I don't think so.
I think you need to get deal with things before moving on or you are just going to take the crap into another relationship. |

Is it a good idea to get with someone to get over a pass relationship ? I have seen it happen so many times, and usually someone ends up getting hurt. I guess it works for some. Me nope...Need that time to heal and clean the heartache and learn from the experience. |

I guess I am still here, hmmmm, so. Put this way if, you are the person who needs to get with someone to get over someone, then you aren't honestly dealing with the emotional upheaval the previous relationship caused. You are hiding from it and masking the emotional repercussions. You need to spend time with yourself to adequately handle receiving and giving love again. As for having a sexual relationship during the process is not an unusual thing for physical needs for some.
