If you were to start dating someone and they invited you to go to a wedding with them 7 hours away, so you arrange your work, kids, and money so you can go. Would you be pissed if your date ditched out on you and went to sleep an 1 1/2 after the reception started? and you didnt know anyone at the wedding?

I suppose that is pretty rude unless the guy was sick or there was something not typical. I mean, if you are going to drive 7 hours on a date, staying awake should be part of the deal. I'm not suggesting that he intentionally tried to mess with you, but I can see your point.

Depends on what made him sleepy. If you spent the previous 1 and 1/2 hours, ahem, renovating the coat closet at the reception, I'd say that his rest was well earned... and what the hell are you doing still awake?

Otherwise, shoot the bastard. Or if you like him, just whip him a few times 'til he mea culpas.

well he thinks that he has no reason to apologize because he "passed out", but he shouldnt have taken pain medication while he was drinking....he is 37...u think someone at that age would know better

If he is drunk derr....if he is tired from all the driving to get there double derr. I don't think he planned to be that, he could be a diabetic too or just low sugar that makes you naturally tired.

It looks rude but has he ever treated you like he is the type that would do that to you??? To me overall, I don't think feel he is a bad sort.

Minneapolis? Minneapolis is a vast and frigid wasteland, home only to polar bears and hockey pucks!

i found out after that he has mistreated every woman he had been with pretty poorly...he even admitted a couple to me...and he does like to drink...but how could you get so drunk after 2 hours and be eating and not drinking for half that time????? he went to watch football...took some pills and passed out! not something i need...but he tried to make me feel guilty for it, but not gonna happen.
