45 is the limit, not a mandatory speed. 45 mph simply = "rate of speed up to and including 45 mph is legal. Over 45 is illegal." Incorrect. Speed limit signs are only speed recommendations. 55 in a 45 can be legal depending on the current conditions. There is only true speed limits in school zones, construction areas, residential areas, and special use areas. Driving slower on surface streets doesn't really mean you lose time. Only if you're driving several hundred miles on a trip does it make a different. Incorrect Again. Traffic signals are timed to change based on the speed limit. Driving faster doesn't really get you anywhere more quickly if you're driving in town. Whether you go 25,35 or 55 in a 45 mph it won't really change anything. Incorrect Again. It does. If you drive at or just barely above the speed limit you can he all the green lights instead of having to stop at every other one or so. Unless all the stop lights are timed specifically to driving 45 mph and only 45 mph so you are guaranteed to get them all green as you maintain exactly 45 mph the entire time, never have to turn, and there is never any other traffic. That's the case for most large metropolitan cities. A 45mph speed limit sign would also indicate a non-congested traffic area. At best someone driving 30 in a 45 gives you the impression that you've lost control over your freedom and entitlement to the road, and it's in your own head that you are losing time. Incorrect. It gives me the impression that they're on the damn cell phone not paying attention. This is usually the case after I pass them going 54mph. IOW it indicates that you are chapping your own azz because of what you think other people are doing to you that they really aren't. What happened, sometimes you do a good job posting factual funny stuff. But, this time you were just typing out your chapped azz? Your probably typing your response while driving down the road at 30mph in a 45mph. The gas pedal is on the RIGHT sign. No. Hold up your right hand. There you go. |

(That believe things like, "it is not what you say, but how you say it') They tend to think, they are fooling people by using lots of meaningless drivel. And may even think they, they appear intelligent & civilised. Hhaaa.. bite me

Scammers on dating sites irritate me to no end! I have come across some that are very educated and can discuss many topics. When they eventually ask for money my only thought is well there went that wasted time I will never get back. I have also come across the common garden weeds who can not type a coherent sentence. That type generally start out with an introduction saying "I am ... "BY NAME". If I read the phrase "by name" I click faster than a split second.
