I wish sometimes that I didn't say such things

Not too bad...just some stupid ones

I have said some pretty stupid things on here as well, I wish I could have a five second delay like the radio so my mind could catch up to my tongue sometimes.

However, you can still edit your posts, if something happened to go wrong .. within one hour, if I remember correctly ..

Embrace your mistakes....own them. Shows you're real. Way more palatable than those who prance around like their $hit don't stink....

Why? Everyone has there days. Your unique expression on any day can show different sides of each individual. I personally like knowing quirkiness. It makes things interesting and special.

You have to show your work so you know where you went wrong.

Same as in 4th grade math class.

Posts should show your opinion and kinda how/why you came to it, even though you have to take some shortcuts due to space limitations.

There are no stupid posts, really.

Just different motives for posting.

If you're worried your post makes you look "stupid" then you aren't really answering the OP, you're trying to get the readers to see you a certain way.

What do you want out of participating in the forums? Greater clarity of yourself? Your abilities? What you know? What you believe? How you think? Emotional titillation for yourself? What you do when faced with questions you don't normally face or really care about?

Or to get the other people to validate an idea of who you think you are? To get people to "like" you possibly due to your esteem only being worth what other people say it is because you said the "right" thing they want to hear?

I carefully think about and write each response very carefully making sure I don't offend anybody or say the wrong f...ing thing. NOT! That's why at least 20% of my posts are edited.

It would be cool to have a fast forward button though.

Then I could see the responses to my posts and decide if I want to post them or not.
