I was quite the little roller skater. A rollerskating rink was located close to my house. I even watched it get built. It became my second home. Funny, I would have a line of girls waiting for me to couple skate with them. The rink owner even tried to get me to join his skate dance classes but I was too cool for that.

So, every once in awhile I'll go rollerskating. I close my eyes and visualize the past. It becomes quite tranquil.

I used to play with my nephews and niece when they were small, I feel like a kid too. I talked to them a lot and asked them about school, their activities, crushes and joined in the games they love to play. Even up to now I love talking to them giggling and laughing, sometimes I asked them to volunteer helping me in cooking happy laugh

Fun! That reminds me of something else I enjoyed as a kid.

Whenever I saw someone standing near the street by a puddle I would drive by really fast and splash them. happy

That's awesome! I remember the roller skating days as an awkward teen.
Mine would be buying an R.C. Cola and putting peanuts in it, my dad would do that and I started doing it as well. Rarely drink soda anymore but every once in a while I'll do that and it brings back those memories.
