Oh man, I sure need a beer or 12 now. I can finally relax.
About 20 minutes after starting this topic last night my house flooded due to a flash flood and neighbors draining their properties onto mine. Blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. So much work to clean up the mess. I just hope the drywall didn't soak up too much water and get moldy. Neighbors blaaaaaaaa. I added a berm today to block the water from my neighbors properties. Some, probably safe to say, many nowadays, just don't care about anybody but themselves. I think I will just sit in the dark and drink while banging my head on the wall. Where's the depressed drinking in the dark emoticon? I guess this will have to suffice:  +  +

You didn't like having an indoor swimming pool??? I feel your pain. It's been a while but my basement flooded a couple of years ago. My neighbor was laughing as the waterfall came through one of the windows into my new office... I was out of the house at the time a huge rain downpour happened and he checked on my home for me and called me (great neighbor to check on my home for me)... Got home at midnight to start the clean up... got to bed about 6AM... Put any fan on and move the air around! Hope things dry out fast for you. |
