..To love someone or to be loved by someone? I think if you have never loved before tis better to love someone. If you have already experienced that, better to be loved.

I have had each without the other. Each by itself, without the other, is absolutely dreadful. At least, if you have a caring bone in your body it is. So it's both or nothing, for me.

Don't relationships involve both? How can't one not reciprocate the other's love without the relationship falling apart? It's all about give and take. If there's more taking than giving it's not going to work.
