Having a small get together at my sisters house, gonna have turkey (of course) and duck. I never had duck beofre, so I'm looking forward to trying it. I bet it's de-effin-licious.

I am paying a visit to my baby sister in North Carolina for Thanksgiving. She visited me last year because I had just moved to Minnesota. Now, I get to return the favour. I love to cook and Thanksgiving dinner is a HUGE opportunity. (For anybody who may be roasting a turkey for the first time, Alton Brown's recipe is excellent.)

Awh obscure, that sounds a little sad. Don't you have any family near by? Maybe you could hop on a train to spend time with family if they're not close. The baby would love a train ride.

All of the family always comes here for thanksgiving, then this year the rotation of houses for xmas has landed the holiday here again, so lots of cooking and cleaning and all that great fun!

With the family local but offered to go to Reno as well with freinds so....... Nutty family or Crazy freinds.... mmmmmm
Nickinolosers - Hard to believe. It would seem someones connected with you for a little get together. I did spend Christmas day all by my self one year though. Walked to the top of the biggest hill nearby, then went dressed a Christmas tree by myself. Swore to never do it again. Very humbling though. |

my brother, sis in law, and my daughter are coming for christmas.....i usually already have my youngin's present made by now....i don't even have the materials for it yet!!! ack! we're trying to find if the rest of the family is coming...might be a packed house this year.
