I am German, and Cherokee Indian, in no particular order. On one side, Immigrants fleeing Germany, and on the other Native to America, Cherokee Indian pushed back and stolen from. When I was a kid I was ashamed to admit I was of german descent and in no way was I gonna admit I was of Indian heritage. I mean the stigma was soooo bad. I bagan to find the pride in all that much later in years. Kat

Well, I will start on my moms side. Because I have more information on background there. I have French, Osage Indian, German, Dutch, and maybe some Irish, but not for sure about that. My Great Grandfather was born in France, another Great Great Grandfather was born in German, and heard about some that came from Holland. May have had some come over on the Mayflower. On my dads side, some came from Spain. Need to get some research done. Geneology is very interesting. Our roots are very important. I know I am very proud to be Native American and a member of the Osage Tribe.

I'm African and American. Mixed: My mom is black and my dad is black as night. Mixed: I even have Native American-not sure what yet, and Irish-not alot. My 3x great Grandma was Irish and 3x great grandpa Native American then 2x great grandma married a black man then great grandpa was half black and half Native American and great grandma black my grandma black with whatever % Native. That's all I know right now but I intend to find out before I die.

American...first and foremost! My family background is mostly Russian. My mom likes to include the UK side of the family, but they were from Mother Russia before that.
