Ok so if your into sushi theres a great place in times square called Ruby Foos I believe its on 49th and Broadway. Comedy clubs are always fun, a great place to go is the Laugh Factory. If your going over Christmas I would definatly look at the displays in the store fronts in time square, they are really cool. Also take a trip uptown to Central Park, it's nice around there in the winter.

Well.. in a few years I will be 30.sad
I have always wanted to see the ball drop in NYC.
My birthday is 1/1 so I think I will make it my goal to be there to see the ball drop in NYC the last day of 29.

Guess i better hurry and find a "mate" so I dont have to go alone!

Originally from NY---things to do---central park, FAO toy store from the movie BIG, go to Times Square, you'll be there for christmas so Lincoln Center to see the tree---St Patrick's Cathedral and along 6th ave they have the windows all done up--must take a ride on the ferry and the subway---must have a dirty water dog, and a freztel.....lol--and if you can go to Radio City to see the Christmas Spectular--oh and dress warm it's cold--and have fun

I tend to like to go where the locals play. Tourist attractions are fine but where are the people of NY..hanging????

new york is a great place, particularly at christmas time. be prepared for it to be cold and very busy.
in fact, i'd go as far as to say that NYC is THE place to be during the christmas season... you should do all the general NYC christmassy stuff... Rockefeller Center, Ice Skating in Central Park, etc. etc. etc.
