I know that might seem to be a romantic idea, but really, when I love someone, the time doesn't feel like a sacrifice.

There will be occasions where, we are swamped and it may not be possible to go on that romantic date or make long intimate phone calls, but I definitely agree with you OP, that if someone means a lot to you, you should generally make the time to connect with them in some way, even if it's one message a day. Its the little things that count :)

When you love someone, being with them should not be viewed as a sacrifice! And they should not be expected to be always at your beck and call.
