Book, I've been reading some of Catherine Coulter's FBI series. Some are better than others. I'm not a romance reader, either.
 I also really like history, if the book has a twist to it, and not just dry dates and facts.

Hmmmmmmm. Historical twist... like maybe...... have you ever tried Harry Turtledove's books? He writes "what if" kinds of novels... like, say, what if Hitler had won? He bases his novels on that kind of scenario.
