Freya the worlds loneliest dog was found as a 6 month old puppy and put in a dog shelter. She suffers from epilepsy and was rejected more than 18,000 times for 6 years by all who visited the animal shelter.

Now she has landed a role in the next 'Transformers' blockbuster after the Hollywood director Michael Bay heard of her plight. He is hoping it will help Freya find a home and he says if not, he will adopt her himself.

My dogs, my cat Pumpkin, and my daughter's cat Tokey were all adopted.
I am a big proponent of pet adoption. So many pets are waiting for a forever home. They are waiting for you.

I am happy for Freya. Aside from becoming a star, she will soon have a forever home.

Thanks for sharing this lovely story, Joe

Very touching. I am so happy for Freya. I really hope this will be a turning point for her.

I have 3 cats at home. One of them ,Cheri, I adopted from SPCA..( society for the prevention of cruelty to animals)
I used to be member of Cat Welfare. I took care of sick and stray cats/ kittens. Once the cats were healthy, the Welfare will look for home for the cats.

Thank you for sharing the story, Joe.flowers flowers

So glad she is guaranteed a home. I got my dog from a shelter at 9 months of age and I've had her for 10 years. She is the most wonderful dog I've ever had! happy

I adopted a cat from the Human Society so my other cat could have a friend to play with.

The adopted cat had a known, per staff records, lung disease.

Both cats ended up dying from the disease.

Thanks Human Society! Good work!

The Human Society paid all the bills for both cats but...

Some animals should NOT be adopted and instead should be put down.

I no longer have any animals.

A long time ago my sister was working in a horse barn as a midwife when a lot of horses were giving birth. She had to stay there all night and asked me to hang out with her. The barn dog was called Cheetohs. That was what I always called the dog- Cheetos. Then my sister asked me, why do you call the dog that? IT's Chita. I always thought of that bright orange snack - cheetos. It was a bright orange color. Then my sister started calling him Cheetos. I guess it's a sister thing.
